Art and Culture in New Rochelle

New Rochelle is a city in the state of New York, close to the border of Connecticut. The town was first settled by a refugee named Huguenots, a French Protestant. He came to America in year 1688 and since then the city has changed and flourished to become a the hub of culture and art in the state of New York. The city is studded with art and history museums as well as cultural events hosted by people from all over the world. And the art and culture of the city continues to grow as more money is put towards building new libraries, museums, art centers and educational facilities for children interested in history, culture and art.

The Museums of Art and Culture in New Rochelle, New York was recently remodeled and expanded to accommodate larger exhibits, more visitors and cultural events. The mission of this museum is to get the high school kids of New Rochelle interested in the world around them. Which is why the museum is officially the part of the high school itself. Teachers take kids on short field trips to the museum and some even hold a few of their classes within the museum walls, as a more effective teaching method.
