The Armory Indoor Track & Field Camp

Welcome to The Armory Preseason Indoor Track & Field Camp. The camp will run for one day with three separate sessions giving the athlete hours of instruction. There is no better way to kick off your 2018 winter track & field season.

Camp registration includes hours of instruction from some of the greatest coaches and athletes in the world; a camp t-shirt; track & field events book that includes drills, training plans, best practices, etc... for all events; and a camp drawstring bag.

Due to the limited space and time constraints please sign up for only one event group. You will work with that group for the duration of the camp. This camp is only for high school aged athletes in grades 9-12 (minimum age of 14).

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, this camp is reserved for athletes in grades 9-12.

Will the camp be active practice sessions or just lecture?

The camp will be a mix of both. All attendees will learn about the events from the staff members, but will also go through a series of drills and practice sessions during the camp. 

What should I bring?

Athletic wear, running shoes, spikes (no spikes will be allowed in the shoes), water bottle

Will food be provided?

No. There will be a one hour lunch and one hour dinner break where the campers can go and purchase food from the surrounding area or bring a brown bag lunch and dinner. 

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?


The Armory is located at the corner of 168th Street, off Broadway. It is accessible off the West Side Highway or the FDR. The Armory is also in close proximity to public transportation. Below is a listing of the different ways available to access the Armory.

We are located one block west of the 168th Street stop off the A, C and 1 trains.

The M4 stops directly in front of our building on Fort Washington Avenue.
M100, Bx7, M5 and M3 have stops one block west of the Armory on Broadway & 168th Street

Car Service / Taxi
Taxis can often be hailed off the street. In front of Milstein Hospital and near bus stops are easy places to catch them. If you are unable to locate a cab, there are also a number of car services available.
